I mainly use the IFS approach in my work, but can also draw from other approaches to help you process feelings, resolve situations and realise your potential:

20 years of business consultancy and management experience
Self-leadership is an ability to consciously observe and influence your own thoughts, feelings and actions – so you can achieve your purpose and goals.
It promotes self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-growth.
Some describe it as a higher level of psychological maturity or emotional intelligence. Others understand it as ‘spiritual’ self-realisation – as coming to know and be who you truly are.
“[People in Self-leadership] describe feeling centered, calm, and light, with a pervasive sense of wellbeing. They demonstrate confidence and openheartedness. They have a greater sense of choice. Many also gain access to an exhilarating sense of connection to others…” Dr. Richard C. Schwartz, founder of IFS psychotherapy
“Exceptional leaders distinguish themselves because of superior self-leadership.” Daniel Goleman, psychologist and author of bestselling book, Emotional Intelligence
Can I help you?
I work with a range of clients – including senior managers, recent graduates, small business creators, mindfulness explorers, and anyone else struggling with difficult experiences (more details here) – across the UK and internationally. Areas of focus are:
Finding more balance & integration in work/life;
Resolving/healing inner experiences, e.g. anxiety, overwhelm, anger, grief, low self-worth, languishing, ‘stuckness’;
Navigating transitions, e.g. ‘milestone’ ages, lifestage shifts, new year planning; career change; new leadership roles; self-identity questions;
Processing life-shocks & lifestyle disruptions, e.g. burnout, health issues, redundancy, relocation;
Supporting employees through their personal experience of organisational change programmes.
Why work with me?
My own life process has been shaped by a 20-year career in international business consultancy and, at the same time, a long path towards healing, mindfulness and self-realisation. This breadth of experience and outlook has, in turn, influenced the way that I now use therapy and coaching methods like IFS.
Although I stay true to the core principles and practices, I can also use them flexibly with different clients and situations. I’m open to alternative perspectives that cast new light – but I ensure that the coaching/therapy relationship is still grounded in practical considerations, clear intentions and focused progress.
